In this course, author David Rivers shows how to create surveys online, while explaining when surveys are useful and how they can help collect the input needed to drive key business decisions.
The course also gives an overview of top online survey tools, including SurveyMonkey, Google Forms, QuestionPro, and SurveyGizmo. The final chapter shows how to use SurveyMonkey to create a survey from start to finish, as well as smart ways to collect more responses.
Hi! And welcome to Up and Running with Online Surveys. I'm David Rivers. In the days before the advent of the World Wide Web surveys were typically conducted with pencil and paper. Now with the ability to conduct surveys online, we can gather information very quickly and at a relatively low cost--in fact, quite often at no cost at all. We'll begin with an introduction to online surveys, including what they are exactly, some practical uses for online surveys, and how to build a business case for using online surveys.
Then it's onto a quick overview of five of the top online survey tools you can access for free, like SurveyMonkey, QuestionPro, and SurveyGizmo. Lastly, we'll use one of the most popular online survey tools, SurveyMonkey, to prepare, build, save, and send out an actual online survey. So, with so much to discover, let's get started.
