Setting up your workspace
Setting up your initial workspace is an important part of making the process of drawing icons more efficient. Now, let's take a moment to set up our initial workspace in Illustrator. Now, the first thing I'm going to do is go ahead and create a new Illustrator file that we're going to use for drawing our icon fonts. I'm just going to go to File and choose New. So the New Document dialog box opens up. And the first thing I'm going to do is give my file a name. I'm just going to name it Chunky Mobile, because that is the name of the icon font that we're going to be doing. And for Profile, I want to be using RGB, but I don't necessarily need to use pixels, so I'm going to go down and choose Basic RGB. And in terms of units of measurement, I'm going to go ahead and set that. I want to make sure this is Points.
