Renaming glyphs

Right now, all of our glyphs are named by their Unicode value, but they don't have to be. If you'd rather have a name that imparts the actual meaning of the icon, you can certainly do that. I have the chunky_mobile file from the 04_13 directory opened up, and let's just kind of play around with renaming these glyphs now. I'd love to tell you that this is a really simple process, but I'm going to be honest with you. I have found this process to be a little buggy inside of Glyphs. Let me show you what I mean. I'm going to go to the first glyph here. And I'm just going to go to the glyph properties, and double-click the name uniE000. I'm going to double-click that, and I'm going to rename it, home. Now as soon as I do that, notice that in this instance, it moved it up to Other, and it actually removed the Unicode in coding. Now I'm going to be honest with you, I didn't know before I did it whether it was going to do that or not. It actually helped me out by doing it, because I'm able to…
