You can also upload videos to Flickr which is really neat. They like to think of them as long photos. And the reason why is that they actually have a limit. Now, previously, in the old Flickr days it was 90 seconds. But with the new Flickr, the Flickr that you're looking at right now, they've upped it to three minutes. So, you can upload three minutes of HD video. How do you do that? Go to our friend, the upload link right here, and you'll see, Choose photos and videos.
We'll choose our movie. Now, you treat this the same way that you do a photo, in the sense that you can Add a description, you can Add tags to this. So, we can boat, sailing. And you can even edit to set. And you can set or establish your owner settings. So, that's all very much just like a photo. Again, Flickr thinks of it as a long photo.
In this case, this one's about a little over a minute. But you can go up to three minutes. Once you're ready, you go over to upload one photo, upload the photostream. Flickr will process the video for you. So, our movie has finished processing and it's ready to play. And we know it's a movie because it has a play button. And if I click on the Play button, it will bring me to the larger version and we can watch a couple seconds of it. (SOUND).
Everything looks good, and we'll go back to our photostream. So, just as promised, these are long photos and you treat them essentially the same way you do regular photographs. And you can intermix them with the rest of your shots, you can put them in sets, do all the things that you like to do on Flickr with your videos. As long as they're less than three minutes long.
