So if you want to join a group, how do you do that? Well, I think first of all, you have to find a group to join and, fortunately, there are a lot of groups here to chose from. Couple ways to do that, you can Search Groups right here and also, under communities, you search groups. So let's search, I am going to search for, let's say, Macro Photography. We have some filters, so I can search from within my groups, but since I don't have any yet, really, I'm just going to search All Groups here. So there is a group called Macro Photography, Macro Magic. So, lot's of groups here.
And you can go to a group, and explore it. Let's see what's going on here in Macro Photography. So you can take a look and go wow I like these shots. So if you decide that this is the kind of place that you want to hang out then you can join this group. Click on the Join This Group button right here. (SOUND). Now sometimes thee will be rules and regulations or criteria. That'll say, you know we don't want you to upload more than five shots a week, or something like that.
If there are such rules then you will get that when you click on the join group button. They'll share that with you. This group here, they're what we call a totally open group, and basically all you have to do is join. Now if I want to contribute to this group, I'll show you how to do that. It's really kind of fun. We'll go to the Photostream and let's, so I want to contribute this right here. So now I just pick my shot.
I go over here to the Flickr three dots and I want to Add to a group. I scroll through all the stuff here. Here's my Macro Photography. This is the group I want to add it to. Click on that, and we're done. Let's go to my Groups List, Micro Photogrpahy. There I am, look at that. Now we'll see what the other Macro guys say about my shot, right? (LAUGH).
So, just like that, I am now part of the community. I get to see what other folks are doing. I can contribute. It's birds of a feather. It's a lot of fun and seriously, I highly encourage it.
