Through several hands-on tutorials, instructor Todd Perkins shows how to best build dynamic, streamlined sites using Flash CS3 Professional. Learn how to create custom keyboard shortcuts, apply advanced text techniques such as animating scrolling text with custom easing controls, and using advanced animation techniques. Flash CS3 Professional Beyond the Basics covers many challenging features, including adding complex interactivity to a Flash CS3 project and getting Flash content on a phone. Exercise files accompany the tutorials.
If you are a premium member of the lynda.com Online Training Library or if you are watching this tutorial on a disk, you have access to the exercise files used throughout this title. The exercises used in this file are organized by chapters. As you go through each of the exercises, I'll mention which exercise file we're working in for that movie. Exercise files are numbered and place in order and have the starting and final states for each file. The starting state is the name of the file that I mention the movie and ending state is the same filename ending with _final.
So chapters are organized a little bit differently. In those chapters there is a folder for each exercise in that chapter. For those chapters I'll tell you how to navigate through those folders to find the files that you need to follow along. So let's get started.
