In this movie, we'll take a look at the Deco tool. The Deco tool can be used to create pre -built yet still customizable artwork. So I select the Deco tool in the toolbar, which is right below the Brush tool. To adjust the settings for the Deco tool, you can use the dropdown menu right under Drawing Effect in the Properties panel. When you click that, you'll see all the different drawing modes for Deco tool. We'll just look at a few of them here. So I'll select the Building Brush, and click and drag on Stage to draw buildings.
The default setting is to draw a Random Building, but in the Advanced area of the Properties panel, you can use the dropdown to pick different Skyscrapers that you want to draw. So I can continue drawing the same one over and over again. You can adjust the width of the buildings by adjusting the Building Size slider in the Properties panel. So you can create really wide buildings or more narrow buildings. Let's go in to delete this and continue on with the Deco tool. The Flame Brush paints flames, so you can control the Flame Size and the color in the Properties panel.
Then click and drag to create flames. The Flower Brush creates a few different types of flowers. You can choose which flowers you want to draw in the Advanced Options section of the Properties panel. So you can choose to draw a Garden flower, Rose, Poinsettia or Berry. You can also choose the Colors, and whether or not you want to have a Branch with the flowers. This is something that you could use maybe for a border, for artwork that you create. There are few different options that we didn't cover in this movie.
So I encourage you to experiment with the different settings in the Deco tool and see what kind of art you can come up with.
