Through several hands-on tutorials, instructor Todd Perkins shows how to best build dynamic, streamlined sites using Flash CS3 Professional. Learn how to create custom keyboard shortcuts, apply advanced text techniques such as animating scrolling text with custom easing controls, and using advanced animation techniques. Flash CS3 Professional Beyond the Basics covers many challenging features, including adding complex interactivity to a Flash CS3 project and getting Flash content on a phone. Exercise files accompany the tutorials.
One of the great things about Device Central is that the list of supported devices often gets updated. To make sure that you have access to the latest supported devices in Device Central, open Device Central and and choose Devices, Check for Device Updates and from there you'll be taken to the Adobe website, you can simply log in with your e-mail address and your Adobe password and once you log in, you can read and accept the terms, and if you scroll down you can find Device Profile Updates.
So what I'm going to do is download the CS3 Device Profile Update #3, and I'll choose to save the file. It's done downloading, so I'm going to close my Firefox window and then on my Desktop I'm going to open up my Installer. I'm going to Install and Relaunch Device Central, and now I have an updated list of devices.
