Troubleshooting classic tweens

Occasionally, when you're working with a classic tween, you may see the dreaded dashed line in the timeline. When you see that, your tween is broken. So I can scrub the playhead and it looks like my animation is working, but the sun looks like there is some sort of problem. See how it flashes on and off and it sort of moves sporadically. So go to the first frame and we'll take a look at this and see if we can fix the problem. To select all the artwork on a keyframe, you can just simply click on that keyframe in the timeline. So click on frame 1 of the biker layer and see if there is any extra artwork. Sure enough, the sun is on that layer as well. So let's see what happens when I move the sun off of that layer. I'll select the sun, cut it. Create a new layer. Drag the layer to the bottom, rename the layer to sun. Use the Paste and Place command to paste the sun in. Notice that when I did that, the classic tween fixed itself. So now not only does the animation work, but the sun also…
