Importing and adding audio to an animation

You can import audio files into Flash just like importing any other file. Go to File > Import and then you can choose Import to Stage or Import to Library. Now Import to Stage is grayed out here because I have a locked layer selected, so don't worry about that. But if you choose either one, the sound just goes into the Library and doesn't go on the Stage so it doesn't really matter. I'll choose Import to Library and then I'm going to import music.mp3. The sound now appears in the Library. To get the sound into my animation, all I need to do is create a layer for it. Now you don't really need a layer just for sound, but I prefer doing this because it's confusing when you mix sound with other layers. This way, I put all my sounds on the same layer and it's easy to find and control those sounds. So I'll change the name of this layer to sounds, and then I'm going to click-and-drag music.mp3 from the Library onto the Stage. Now you may have noticed that the frame where I dragged the sound…
