When you create a motion tween that moves an object, Flash automatically creates something called a motion path that matches the outline color set for your particular layer. So if I move the playhead to a later frame, anything after frame 1, and I click on the motion tween, you can see the motion path is a green outline. Notice that green color is the same as the outline color for the biker layer. This path can actually be modified like a regular line drawn with the Line tool. For example, I can use the Subselection tool and click at the end point of the animation, click, and drag up to move the motion path.
So I'm moving that anchor point, so the girl and bike will ride up the hill. Now, if I preview the animation, you can see her move upward. You can also use this Selection tool to modify the path just like you would modify a line, so if you hover over it, you'll see the cursor update to show a curved line, which means you can click-and- drag up or down to create an arc in your animation. Further, you can click on the path with the Selection tool, which will select the whole path, and then you can move the whole path up or down.
So you can edit this entire span of frames with this entire animation just by clicking on that motion path and moving it around with the Selection tool. So when you create motion tweens, remember that your motion path is not stuck in a straight line.
