The Properties panel gives you options for adjusting easing curves for classic tweens. To access those options click on your classic tween in the timeline and then click the Edit easing curves button in the Properties panel. The icon looks like a pencil. When you click that button, the Custom Ease In/Ease Out window opens up. In this window you can control easing for individual properties or you can use one setting for all properties. If you want to ease individual properties, uncheck the Use one setting for all properties checkbox and then choose the property you want to edit easing for.
For right now, I just want to use one setting for all properties, so I will make sure that box is checked. In this window, you can see the tween represented on the left, from 0% to 100%, and the frames represented on the bottom. So editing this curve is pretty much exactly like editing an easing curve in the motion editor. So what I want to here is make the ease out effect a little more strong. To do that, I'll click at the bottom left anchor point and then I'll drag the Bezier curve like so. Now you see this arc is little bit more steep at the beginning and then it goes up very slowly towards the end.
So this is a very strong ease out effect. Note that if you want to, you can click inside of here to add additional anchor points. For right now I don't need to do that so I am going to delete the anchor point by Option+Clicking or Alt+Clicking it. I will set the easing back to how I wanted it and then I'll click OK. Test the movie in the Flash Player and see the strong easing for my animation. So when you want more tight control over your easing curves, select your tween and then click the pencil icon in the Properties panel to open up the custom easing window.
