Let's take a look at the sound properties you can adjust in the Properties panel. So I'll select the layer that has my sounds on that frame where the sound is applied and then we'll take a look in the Properties panel. Here you'll see sound settings. In the Name drop-down, you can choose which sound file you want to play. Since I only have one file, I only have the option to choose None or music.mp3. We've already talked about the Sync option, so you can set those there and then you can choose whether you want this sound to repeat a certain number of times or to loop.
There's also a drop-down to apply sound effects, so I'll click the drop-down menu and then I can choose from one of the built-in effects, so I can have this sound be only on the left channel or the right channel or fade from right to left or left to right or I can have it fade in or fade out, I'll choose fade in. Let's test the application in the Flash Player. Command+Return on the Mac, Ctrl+Enter on the PC. (Music playing) You can then hear the audio fading in as the movie plays.
If you want more powerful control over your audio, you can click the Pencil icon to open up the Edit Envelope option. So here I can modify how the sound works by adding and removing keyframes and adjusting them. So you can control the volume of the left and right channels of your sound individually. I'm just going to click Cancel. So when you want to add effects to your sound, you can select your sound in the Timeline and apply the Effects through the Properties panel.
