Touring the new interface in Go

Lets take a tour of the new FileMaker Go 13. I'm going to show you FileMaker Go on the iPad. When you first open FileMaker Go 13 the first difference you'll see is the new home screen that's been designed to match new iOS 7 user interface patterns. The home screen defaults to the recent files list. The recent files is a list of either servers that you've connected to, like this one that you see on the top, or different files that are either locally on the device or hosted on the server somewhere all mixed together into one list of recent files. You can tell the files that were connected with a host, for example the second one, because it has the name of the server below it. Local files have time stamps and information about the file below them instead. You'll notice the familiar Windows icon in the far upper left hand corner. When you click on it, instead of going right to the windows, you'll see now that you have three different options. The first option, navigates you back to the…
