Hi, I'm Ron Davis, and welcome to Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack Fundamentals. This course is a high leveled overview of the Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack. We're going to start this course by looking at how Microsoft divides the land of business intelligence in three ways. Next, we're going to take a look at SQL Server 2012, integration services, which we use to do the extract, transform, load, or ETL portion of business intelligence projects.
We will quickly discuss data warehouses and data marts, and the differences between them, and where they fit in the BI stack. Finally, we'll take a quick look at visualizations of data, which is the end result of all of our BI efforts.
