It's my goal to help you make a lasting change, not just learn some tips or techniques that will help you be more productive or have better time management. Many people who have completed this program have experienced a near-permanent change that lasts for many, many years. How will we accomplish that? By putting greater emphasis on the principles rather than the tools. The tendency for many people is to believe that their next piece of software that they buy, the next computer that they purchase, the next smartphone that they use, will suddenly improve their productivity by virtue of advanced technology.
The reality is that technology itself will not make you more productive. What will make you more productive is using the technology in a way that's based on timeless principles, principles that never change, regardless of advancements in technology. For example, one of the things that you'll learn through the course of this training is that you need to carry your calendar, your contacts, and your tasks with you wherever you go. Whether you use a smartphone or a paper planner to accomplish that, it doesn't matter as much as the commitment you make to live that principle.
So the next time you think that buying a new tool will make you more productive, keep in mind it will only make you more productive when you live according to the principles of good time management and productivity. This course will show you those principles, and more importantly, help you practice them, so that they become second nature to you. It's in the habits you develop where you'll experience lasting change.
