When in doubt, turn to Premiere Elements Help. Adobe has put a lot of effort into making Help accessible, easy to use and well, helpful darn it. You access Help from within Premiere Elements, but when you select Help, that takes you outside the program. Let's try this. Help > Adobe Premiere Elements Help. Now that puts up a browser that actually opens up several possibilities for you. The top one is the main Help resource. We will click on that in a second. But notice as you go through this particular website, there are all kinds of links to things like little videos that help you out, forms and a whole community of Premiere Elements users out there. That might be worthwhile to tap that community.
Well, let's go to this online Help which is probably what you expected to see, when you click that Help inside Premiere Elements, that takes you to another website, and this is sort of the standard text that you might see when you buy a product of this scope, but now these days, all these help files are electronic. You can search inside here by going, let's say, Title, for example, and when you search in that, it will search within that document, but it also searches within the community, with all those files that you saw earlier. When you click on a link, it may take you back to that Help file, that text or may take you outside the site to some other place that might offer an extra advice. But in this case it takes you back as you can see to the Table Contents to the Title section.
On the off chance that you won't be able to access online Help, you can also download a PDF of this whole Help file, by going here and clicking that link. The one little downside to that is if you do a search inside that PDF, it won't take you outside to all these various online help sources, it will just take you within the file. But again, it's good to have that guy on your hard drive in case you want to access things when you can't online. In any event, whether it's a PDF or online, I think it's always a good idea that whenever run against something that you can't quite figure out, just go check out Help.
