In this course, author Jan Kabili introduces the photo organizing, editing, and sharing features of Adobe Photoshop Elements 10, the less expensive version of Photoshop that’s ideal for casual photographers who want to achieve professional results. The course covers importing, organizing, and finding photos with the Organizer. It explains how and when to use each of the editing workspaces—from the simple Quick Fix and Guided Edit workspaces to the Full Edit workspace for enhancing your photos—including making photo corrections, retouching, compositing images, and adding text. The final chapter offers creative ways to share photos with Elements, including print projects like greeting cards, calendars, and books, emailing photos, and posting them on Facebook and Flickr.
Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to work through this course. I know that there's a lot of material here and it could be overwhelming particularly if you're a novice at photo management and photo editing programs. So but I suggest you do is go back and review anything that you are not exactly sure about by listening to that movie again and do practice the techniques that I showed you here. For managing your photos in the Organizer, for editing and enhancing photos in the Editor, for making photo creations like books and calendars and greeting cards, and for sharing your work with family and friends, practicing is the way that you are going to get really comfortable with all that Elements 10 has to offer.
