Another way that you can share digital photographs is by burning them to CD or DVD. If your computer has a read/write CD or DVD drive installed, then you can burn images to either media and send them to your family and friends or just keep them as catalog backups. For this movie, I would like to show you how to use the Burn CD/DVD controls available in Bridge. I'm currently in the Bridge application and I'm viewing all of the images inside of the catalog images folder, which is in our exercise files. What I want to do is filter down my display here in the Content panel and only view a group of specific images and I'm going to do that using Keywords over here in the Filter panel, and I click on where it says Enzo year 2.
So now I'm just viewing those images that have the Enzo year 2 keyword tag applied. What I'm going to do is go ahead and select the images from within the Content panel that I would like to burn. I think I'm just going to select this top image here, hold down Shift and click on the Enzo_at_park image. That selects all of the adjacent images in between those two and then I would like to add these image stacks. Now to add these to our selection, you have to actually hold down the Shift key and click on the back image in the stack like this and you have to do these one at a time. Now scroll down a little bit more, maybe select a few more of these images and let's get say up to about there. I'm going to get just these images; these are the ones that I want to burn to CD or DVD.
I'm going to go under the File menu, choose Burn CD/DVD. That's going to bring up a separate dialog box, which is right here. It says Burn Disc. I'm going to move this down a little bit. I'm going to go ahead and click on this down- facing arrow to see our options and here we have got our Burn Options. We can choose our burn Speed, Maximum Possible. That sounds good to me. Then we have After Burning, whether or not we want to verify the burned data and whether or not we want to eject the disc or mount it on the Desktop. I'm going to keep these set the way they are, verifying and ejecting.
I'm going to go ahead and click Burn and it goes on and it does its thing. Basically, that's all you need to know in order to burn your images to a CD or a DVD using the Burn to CD option in Bridge.
