In the previous chapter, we have talked about importing clips to the Timeline, but what if you don't want that entire clip? I mean rarely are you going to use an entire clip that you shot. You are going to need to fine-tune it. That's where the Preview window comes in. So with my footage in here selected, I can double-click. It opens up this Preview monitor. I can also right-click on it and say Open in Clip Monitor. So within this monitor, I can create in and out points. Where do I want the video to begin and where do I want it to stop? So let's just take a look. I am moving to Current Time Indicator. I am going to find some dancing here, maybe right there before they start to roll, and I am going to press this SetIn point. And then we are going to go ahead a little bit. When they stop to roll and little spin, I am going to press the SetOut point.
