Hey there! This is Ray Villalobos and welcome to Adobe Edge Prerelease 6: First Look. In this course, we'll look Adobe's HTML5 animation and interaction software Adobe Edge. I'll start by showing you how to download and install Adobe Edge and go through setting up understanding the Edge interface, previewing, and publishing your Edge projects. Then I'll show you how to work with some of the tools in Adobe Edge, like the drawing and text tools, plus how to work with custom fonts and imported assets. We'll also see how Edge animation works using keyframes and symbols plus how to use easing and the timeline.
Finally, I'll show you how to program Adobe Edge using timeline triggers, organizing animations with labels, and object scripts, plus the Code panel, a new addition to this prerelease version. We'll be covering all these features and lots more, so let's get started with Adobe Edge Prerelease 6: First Look.
