Hello! This is Sue Jenkins, and welcome to Designing Websites from Photoshop to Dreamweaver. We'll start the training off by showing you how to set up your Photoshop and Dreamweaver workspaces for working on a web project. We'll then discover some simple ways to plan your website effectively and gathering the necessary content. After that, we'll explore some design ideas related to creating your web mockup in Photoshop, and talk about slicing and optimizing web graphics. We'll then jump into Dreamweaver to learn how to construct a webpage template, work with AP div tags, then insert form fields, followed by some tips and tricks for search engine optimization and accessibility.

We'll then work with some of Dreamweaver's testing and validation tools to clean up our code and validate our code against W3C standards. We'll wrap up with a section dedicated to publishing via FTP and get some suggestions about post-launch site maintenance. So, whether you're brand-new to web design or looking for ideas on ways to work smarter, welcome to Designing Websites from Photoshop to Dreamweaver.
