Exercise files are included with the course.
In this movie, we'll focus on using behaviors. Now I have the gallery.htm file open and this is a little photo gallery that we'll be building in this chapter. I'm previewing it in live view so we can kind of see the functionality of this photo gallery and what it can do for us. Notice that when we click on one of the thumbnails, the image loads and as the images are loading, they kind of fade in a little bit. An another nice touch is that just below the thumbnails, there is a little link for More and if I hover over that, I get a nice little tool tip that tells me a little bit more about that photo from the individual that took it.
Well in this case, I can see that the thumbnail that I have selected has what we call a Swap Image behavior and we are going to take a look at using the Swap Image behavior in just a moment. You can also see that just beside that it says onClick. That of course is the action that's going to be triggering this behavior, in this case, clicking on the thumbnail. Well, if I want to add a behavior to any element that I have on the page, all I really need to do is focus on that element and click the Add behavior menu. As I do that, I see a list of available behaviors for that particular type of object.
