Welcome to day eight of the 21 day drawing challenge. Effective drawing utilizes light sources to create compelling visuals, that contain both shadows and highlight areas within a drawing. The drawing challenge you'll be faced with today is to draw the light sources for each of the nine heads shown on this provided reference sheet. Each head has a predetermined light source indicated, and you have to draw how the shading would appear on each head, according to this light source provided. If necessary, look at photographs of people in various lighting conditions, and study how the shadows are cast onto their faces. It's all about creating form and shape from the lack of light. You'll find this sheet along with an example of one shaded head in the exercise files for this course. Just print out the sheet, and start drawing.
