Introduction and inspiration

James White: My name's James White and I'm a Visual Artist and a Graphic Designer and I run Signal Noise studio out of Dartmouth Nova Scotia Canada. So one of my recent projects that I've taken on has been illustrating WWE wrestlers from the late 80s and early 90s. I really wanted a small project, a small series of prints, of something that would be kind of open ended, and ongoing, and fun, and brightly colored. And something that really taking cues from my childhood. There was a lot of gimmicks in wrestling and that's what I loved about it being a kid and being into the WWE back then it was just, it was, it, was big guys with gimmicks and I loved that. So I knew that when I was designing these little characters, I wanted to play up their gimmicks. I wanted to Coco Beware with the parrot, you know?
