Begin crafting your presentation the same way you would begin designing a project. The first step is to clearly understand its parameters. Here's a list of questions that will help guide the process. What is the purpose of this presentation? To whom are you presenting? What form will the presentation take? How much time do you have? And where is the presentation taking place? The best advice I can give you is to know these answers beforehand so you can properly prepare. The last thing you want is to be caught off guard. Make sure you're clear as to the purpose of this presentation. Determine the desired outcome. Is the presentation to sell, inform, support, inspire, or instruct? Who will be in the audience? And what influence will they have in the decision making process. This will help you determine what form the presentation should take. Ask how much time you have to present, and always plan to end early. And finally, ask about the space in which you're presenting, is it online?…
