Dan Ablan

Dan Ablan has been involved in 3D animation for the past 20 years. He has written some of the world's most popular books on LightWave 3D such as the Inside LightWave series from New Riders and Peachpit Publishing, and the The Official Luxology modo Guide series. His day-to-day work includes 3D animation for clients like United Airlines, NASA, Hallmark Cards, Frito Lay, and many others. Over the years, Dan has written for various trade magazines such as 3D World and 3D Design, and also served as Editor in Chief of Keyframe Magazine (now HDRI 3D Magazine). In addition to creating and writing about 3D, Dan Ablan is a leader in the visual and personal training field, having taught for companies like APCO Worldwide, NASA JPL, Hallmark, Reebok, Dell, and many others. He is also the founder of 3D Garage, an online high quality video training library.
