Hi, I am Curt Frye. Welcome to Crystal Reports 2011, Essential Training. In this course, I'll show you around the Crystal Reports user interface, describe how you can set program and report options, and get help using the program. Next, I'll show you how to create reports using the Design Wizard and also by linking to one or more data sources. I will then move on to sorting and grouping your data, show you how to change group options, and to summarize your data using statistical summaries. After that, I'll show you how to create and manage report sections, change the section order, and delete any sections you no longer need. My next chapter covers formatting, whether by applying a report template, formatting individual report controls or by highlighting records. The remainder of the course shows you how to summarize your data using charts, to focus on subsets of your data by selecting records using parameter fields, and by displaying data in subreports and crosstabs. Regardless of how you use Crystal Reports, the techniques in this course will help you analyze your data effectively.
