If you are a Premium member of the lynda.com Online Training Library, or if you are watching this tutorial on a DVD-ROM, you have access to the exercise files used throughout this title. We won't be using many files in this course, but the exercise files are laid out by chapter. I already have the exercise files decompressed here on my Desktop and you can see I have a cfcs folder and one folder for each chapter. The exercise files consist of ColdFusion files and components, mainly used to demonstrate CodeAssist and other helpful features of ColdFusion Builder. To use the exercise files, you need to copy all of the chapter files and the cfcs folder to your ColdFusion web root.
In my case, on the Mac, that's under my Applications folder, ColdFusion9, and I will scroll down a little bit here, wwwroot. So, I will take all of my files and just drag them to my web root. If you are on Windows, this will most likely be in C:\ColdFusion9\wwwroot, or if you are using IIS, under C:\inetpub\wwwroot. If you don't have access to the exercise files, you can follow along from scratch or with your own assets.
