Christopher Brooks has been producing, editing and supervising music for film since film was on film and music was on tape. He pioneered the transition to digital technology while at the renowned music editorial company Segue Music. He has worked with some of the most outstanding directors, producers, musicians and composers in the business.
Among his first hundred credits are Across the Universe, 16 Blocks, Constantine, Mr. Holland’s Opus, Goodfellas, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl and The Iron Giant. He is the author of Visual Music, a textbook on the techniques, organization and aesthetics of creating music for film.
