Learn how to find, access, and view courses in the lynda.com training library. Staff author Garrick Chow explains how to find the "need to know" material quickly and browse other subjects you might be interested in. A full rundown of the types of training offered is included, from in-depth essential training on specific software packages, to first looks at up-and-coming technology trends, to inspirational documentaries following creative professionals working in a variety of disciplines. Garrick also shows how to use special library features such as bookmarks, the queue, certificates of completion, frequently asked questions (FAQs), and more, as well as where to turn for help when you need it. Plus, learn to access lynda.com on the go, either through our mobile site, or the iOS app, which also supports playing videos on your TV via AirPlay and an Apple TV.
At the bottom of the fat footer on each page, you'll find a link to our site map. If, for some reason, you're having trouble finding information about our company or courses using the other navigation or links on our site. Try visiting the site map. The site map is organized into the sections of company, categories, and courses. Under company you'll find links to pages about lynda.com or various products and solutions. News and press releases as well as links to contact us and our frequently asked questions. Under the category section is where you'll find all of our courses divided into subject, software. Software company, and author.
This mimics the same functionality you'll get from the navigation menu at the top of each page. As well as the subjects and software tabs of the fat footer. So, this is just another option for searching for courses. And the courses section of the site map lists every course in our library alphabetically. Just click a letter to jump to that section. I do want to emphasize that this is alphabetical by the course name and not by software name. So, while many of our courses begin with the software product's name, don't click on say letter D thinking you'll find all the Dreamweaver courses. Most of them are here, but notice there are also courses like, Creating a first Web Site with Dreamweaver CS6 here under C.
If you want to search the sitemap for course by software name go back to the categories tab of the sitemap and here browse under software.
