Learn how to find, access, and view courses in the lynda.com training library. Staff author Garrick Chow explains how to find the "need to know" material quickly and browse other subjects you might be interested in. A full rundown of the types of training offered is included, from in-depth essential training on specific software packages, to first looks at up-and-coming technology trends, to inspirational documentaries following creative professionals working in a variety of disciplines. Garrick also shows how to use special library features such as bookmarks, the queue, certificates of completion, frequently asked questions (FAQs), and more, as well as where to turn for help when you need it. Plus, learn to access lynda.com on the go, either through our mobile site, or the iOS app, which also supports playing videos on your TV via AirPlay and an Apple TV.
Also found under the My Account menu when you logged in is news and email options. This is where you'll come if you need to change the email address associated with any newsletters you opted to receive from us. Just click edit to enter a new email address. Again, note that this only changes your newsletter subscription email. To change the email associated with your account with us, you'll have to go to my profile and change the email address here. Let's go back to news and email options. If you received newsletters from us at an alternate address, click manage a different email address. Basically, whatever email address is displayed under service and account notifications or you enter in the email field here is the email address that will be effected by what you check or uncheck under newsletter subscriptions. Let me just cancel that for a moment.
So, you're free select whichever newsletters you wish to receive or not receive from lynda.com. You can roll over each newsletter to see a description of its contents. Once you've made your choices, click Save.
