In Creating an Effective Resume, author Mariann Siegert provides step-by-step guidance on creating resumes that highlight accomplishments and specifically target a potential employer's needs. The Career Management worksheet, which is located in the Bonus Materials folder of the exercise files, can be used to gather together all of your information needed for your resume and beyond. It will be a handy place to keep up with all of your past and ongoing achievements, accomplishments, classes, seminars, awards, honors, or any other pertinent information that is relevant to your career. You can then use this information you gather to better target each resume, whether the resume be targeted towards your career, a particular employer, or a certain job.
As you can see, some of the sections here are your Personal Information; your Education; your Vocational or Technical Training; Professional Development section; Professional Experience, which goes on for quite a while here in case if you've had a lot of jobs; and then it starts with Other Pertinent Information. You've got related Qualifications, Technical Skills. So there are a lot of information in here. It's actually 16 pages long. Just to note, the form was designed to be double-spaced.
