Storytelling isn't just for fiction; it's vital to your business, too. Storytelling can help you communicate with customers and clients, market your ideas, and solve problems. It's also a great way to take projects from concept to launch. In this course, author and story consultant C.C. Chapman walks you through his storytelling strategies, including identifying your audience, brainstorming, nailing down details, and turning your story into a reality.
Hi, I'm C.C. Chapman, and today we're going to be talking about storytelling and why it's important to you and your organization. Storytelling is a big topic so we're going to step through it bit by bit. I'm going to walk you through the process that I step through with my clients to develop a story. We're going to talk about first determining a goal, and why we're doing it in the first place. Then we're going to go through the creative brainstorming process where we come up with all kinds of ideas, throw them em against the wall and see what sticks. And then narrowing it down to three or four things that are perfect, that we're going to move forward with.
Finally we're going to talk about how you take those stories, make them a reality and get them out to the world, so they can start consuming them, enjoying them and come into your business. So come with me as we talk about business storytelling.
