Today, we'll show how to use one delivery service, Vertical Response, to send HTML emails. As with other email delivery services, the process is similar. First you create a list, then you create a campaign, attach your HTML email to your campaign, and then you assign a list to your campaign, and send. The first step is to create an email. Select Emails > New.
Click Next. Vertical Response gives us a series of choices to create the HTML email. Select Freeform HTML. Click Next. In Notepad, we copy all of our HTML code, Vertical Response, paste or code, click Next. We can see that the HTML email has been uploaded to Vertical Response in HTML format, and that it displays fine.
We click Preview Text. If we want to edit our text email, we can do so. Scroll down. We select mailing lists. We select our list. If you will need to send a test, click Send Test. Click Next. The next step is to select recipients for our email. Click Next. At the bottom of the email, you are given a send date; if you want to change it, click Change to specify the specific date.
We will choose As Soon as Possible. Click Send email. Vertical Response also provides you with a link to view email reporting or to create another email. While this video shows how to send email with Vertical Response, the process is similar for all email delivery services. And be sure to check back reporting on your email.
