Today we'll show how to use the email delivery service Campaign Monitor. As with most email delivery services, the process of sending an email involves creating a list, then creating a campaign, adding your email to the campaign, and then choosing the list for your campaign, and then sending your email. We'll see how this works in Campaign Monitor. The first step in Campaign Monitor is to click the Create/Send tab at the top. Click Create a new campaign. Type in the campaign name.
Then we type in our email address, and we give a Reply To address for the campaign. Click Next. In this step we'll choose an HTML and plain text email. Click Next. We'll click the Browse button to import from our computer. Click Get my campaign. We click the Preview link to view in a new window, and this is the single-column email we created earlier.
Campaign Monitor asks us whether or not the unsubscribe link is to be added by them or by us. We'll choose them. Click Next. We'll click 'import it from your HTML to get our text email', and now that we've defined our email, both the HTML and the text, we click Define Recipients. We'll select sample list. Click Next. The final step is to test and define the delivery. We'll click to skip the test, and we will send the campaign immediately.
Click the green button. While this video shows how to send email with Campaign Monitor, the process is similar for all email delivery services.
