I thought it might help you to understand creative brief writing if I brought the process to life with an example. To do that I want to walk you through developing a creative brief for a fictitious company and its fake project. Let's use the fictitious art museum called SAMOCA as our dummy case study. A critical aspect of developing a brief, is figuring out how to align creative with the client's business goals. Lemme demonstrate this. Taking a look at the background provided by the client SAMOCA, which you can download from the resource files, we found out a lot about this client. This client did a good job of providing a short description of their institution. To write the background summary of our creative brief on this client's project, we could lift their copy and plug it into our document.
