Prezi has great features for collaborating remotely, but what if you just want to present remotely to a client or to a small audience? And what if your business partner wants to help you present but she's in San Francisco and you're in New York? It's all possible in Prezi. Here's how. From right here in the online editor, in edit mode, you can click on the share icon up here on the right and choose online presentation. You'll go into presentation mode automatically and this pop up window will appear with a link that you can share with your audience. You can now present live online to up to 30 other people at once.
Note that this link will expire 10 minutes after you finish your presentation and close the Prezi. If you'd like to co-present with a colleague, you can do that too. I'll x out of this window here, and you can see that Shae is already here with me and that I am about to start the online presentation. I'm prompted to do so here. Click that, and it says that I am now presenting. You can seamlessly hand off the presentation to your colleague at any time. A left-click on Shae's avatar and the menu comes up, prompting me to hand over the presentation, which I'll do now, and Shea is now the presenter.
She's controlling the panning and zooming. And you can see the little podium icon below her on the sidebar. It tells me how many people are watching as well, if we click this little arrow here. And it says presenting to one other. And she can hand it back to me at any time. And now, it says that I am presenting, and there's the little icon below me. Like with real time editing, you probably want to have some other communication service in place to give context to your presentation. Skype, Google Chat, or even an old school conference call would be a great addition to a remote Prezi.
Real time remote presenting is a real killer feature in Prezi, allowing you and your co-presenters to tell your story wherever you are.
