Bonnie Biafore

As an engineer, Bonnie Biafore has always been fascinated by how things work and how to make things work better. She has a knack for mincing dry subjects like accounting and project management into easy-to-understand morsels and then spicing them to perfection with her warped sense of humor.

Bonnie is the award-wining author of more than a dozen books, including QuickBooks: The Missing Manual (2005-2012), Quicken 2009: The Missing Manual, Project: The Missing Manual (2007 and 2010), Selection Handbook, which won an APEX Award of Distinction, Successful Project Management, and Your Project Management Coach. Successful Project Management also won a Distinguished Award from the Puget Sound chapter of the Society of Technical Communication. She writes regularly for Better Investing magazine and interest.com, and provides project management and technical documentation services. When unshackled from her computer, she hikes in the mountains with her two Bernese Mountain Dogs, takes aerial dance lessons, and cooks gourmet food.
