Setting up collision objects

Whilst being able to control the look and feel of cloth objects inside a simulation, it is perhaps an obviously important skill to master for technical artists. Another and no less important skill, will be to understand and control the collision meshes. That will most likely, be implied in almost every cloth simulation that we create. In fact, we could say that without the ability to interact with its surrounding environment, the belief ability of any cloth we create is likely to be limited. In this video, we will essentially start at the beginning with regard to collision meshes and take a look, first of all, at how we go about adding them into our cloth simulations. I will start in scene setup to once again, use a simple plane as a cloth object. Although in this instance, we're going to simulate as if it were a garment colliding with the animated mannequin geometry that it is attached to.
