(MUSIC) Welcome to Blackboard Essential Training my name is Patrick Crispen. In this course I'm going to show you what you need to know to get started with Blackboard. I'm also going to throw in some tips, tricks and even some instructional design strategies, things that will help you get the most out of Blackboard. We will cover essentials such as how to create an assignment. I'll explore many of the communication tools and we'll look at how to use discussions and email. I'll teach you how to set up your Grade Center, add items and export the records.
We'll cover how to create assessment items of all sorts. And how to set various settings that will allow you to deliver and grade these items as efficiently as possible. Let's get started.
