Adding members to groups - Blackboard Tutorial
From the course: Blackboard 9.x Essential Training: Instructors
Adding members to groups
In our last movie, we created a handful of Blackboard groups, student groups that are sort of private to these students. Certain numbers of students are in each group and within the groups the students can send email, they can do a discussion board, they can exchange files. But let's say I want to change the membership of a particular group. I want to add somebody to a group or remove somebody from a group. How do I do that? Well, I am here on the Groups page. I did it by clicking on the Groups link here in the course menu. I could also go down under Users and Groups and click on Groups to get to the exact same page. What I want to do is add Jayden Brown to a particular group. I'm going to add him to Study Group 2. So what I'm going to do now is click on Edit. As I scroll down, it's going to show me a list of the people who are currently enrolled in this particular group and if I want to add Jayden Brown to a group, I just click his name and move him over. That's all there is to it…
