In OpenOffice.org 2 Base Getting Started, David Rivers offers a concise introduction to the application's features and techniques. He also teaches database design fundamentals along the way. David shows how Base can be used by all levels of users to create and modify tables, forms, queries, and reports. He demonstrates how to use wizards, design views, and SQL views. David also explains how Base can be connected to a variety of data sources, including Microsoft Access and Excel files, or used on its own, thanks to its built-in database engine.
