Modifying multileaders

As you make changes to a design, your call outs may need to change as well. Fortunately, AutoCAD makes it easy to modify a multi-leaders text, placement or appearance. Let's take a look. On my screen I have a detailed drawing that represents a fire hydrant installation and I'd like to change some of the call outs in this file. I'll start by zooming in on the top portion of the drawing. To edit the text associated with a multi-leader simply double click on the text object, this gives you full access to the text editor. I'm going to click at the end of my note and I'll add some more text. When finished I'll click on screen to close the editor. We can also re-position multi-leaders if necessary. As you can see, I have some overlap going on here. To move this leader on top, I'll click to select it. And then I can use these grips around the outside of the text to reposition it. I'm going to click the grip in the upper left corner. I'll move the text out. And then I'll click to place it…
