Setting default display configurations
Because this drawing was created using a predefined template, you may notice that certain items such as walls or other architecture features seem to be displaying as a grey monotone. This is because of something called the display manager within AutoCAD MEP. The display manager allows you to control the representation of every object in your drawing without fussing around with the convoluted layer manager that you need to deal with in regular AutoCAD. This video will take a glance at how AutoCAD determines what objects in your drawings should look like. By going into the display manager dialogue we will look at three different categories. We will look at display configurations, sets, and representations by object. Then we're going to take a look at the corresponding display choices we have when we're back on the drawing.
