Things to know before watching this course

This course is designed for users of Google Apps for Education. While we will explore many of the Google App features, the focus of this course will be on how educational institutions can get the most from the Google App suite of product. This course is going to be appropriate for you if you are setting up Google Apps for your educational institution. Or, if your educational institution uses Google Apps and you're trying to deeper understand how to work those applications into your educational practice. This is also a great course if you have students using Google Apps and you want some information on how to train those students.

And finally, Google Apps for Educators is a great course if you plan to incorporate Google Apps into your instructional practice. This is using the applications with your students. If you fit one of these categories then this course will be a great fit for you. As we continue to use Google Apps for Education. I'll also assume that most people are familiar with the apps themselves. This course is going to allow educators to get the most of the applications and because of that this course is going to focus on extending Google Apps for Education. If you're brand new to Google Apps I recommend you check out our Google Calendar course, our Google Drive course or Gmail Essential Training all by Jess Stratton.

In addition to that, if your'e new to Google Sites I recommend you the Google Sites Essential Training by Susan Metz, prior to watching this course. Now while this course will not go in depth into how to use these particular products. A basic understanding will be all you need in order to keep moving forward with our particular training. For this course, if you get to a section that you feel that you don't understand. Please take the time to check out one of these videos to make sure you're fully up to date on how to use Google Apps for Education.
