Understanding the anatomy of accents and highlights
Now, I'm going to tell this to you now, and I"m sure I'll tell it to you in the future. But the most important thing about accents and highlights has to do with pre-planning. You want to make sure you know exactly what it is that you're going to be accenting or what you'd like to highlight because, in most cases, if it's something that's complex or something that's really important, you'll probably need to build the animation around that key accent. So, let's jump in so I can show you some of the different accents and highlights that we'll be creating as we move throughout this course. So, as we look at the graphics, you'll notice most of these accents and highlights were created by using multiple layers and using blend modes to accent those specific highlights. Also, making use of high-dynamic-range, 32-bit float definitely will add a little bit more pop to those animations.
