Show only effects properties

If you want to quickly find which layers have effects, there's a very logical shortcut. And that's the letter E. Let's select a layer and quickly apply an effect. I'll put a little bit of reverb on this audio track. Now, we'll make that visible, and you see here, that there is an effect applied, because I can see the FX property. However, another useful short cut is that E Cmd to see just the effects that are applied. Like other timeline shortcuts, that can be used as a toggle. E to show effects, press it again to hide. Remember the Effects column here will allow you to globally disable the effects for a layer, but pressing E will let you drill down to the individual effect. If you want to disable an individual effect, you can temporarily do so by clicking the Effects to toggle its visibility. And, of course, you can always select it and press the Back space or Delete key to remove it entirely.
