Here's a simple a over b shot that obviously needs a little work on timing. The car went zooming by at full speed, in real time, at the beginning of the shot. Our skater was recorded at one tenth the frame rate. So he's at 480 fps and the car is at 48 frames per second. So, in this lesson we will get these two basically aligned before we get to work on the real magic of this shot. Now, to show you what's going on here with the foreground, let's open up the pre-comp for a moment. And you see those keyframes on the main roto layers. So he's been cut out at the moment when he is meant to leave the ground. If I highlight the layer, you can see this anchor point. Just look very carefully and you'll see the anchor point that moves up to the apex. I have the reference car guide layer there, just to make sure here clears it. And then he comes quickly back down.
