Applying the label
Before we get going too much further, we should probably add the label to our bottle. So to do that, I want to create a new material. Let's go down to our Material Manager, click on create Create and choose New Material. Let's double-click on the material to open the Material Editor and in the Color Channel, let's load up our Photoshop document. Click on the button next to Texture and choose Load Image. It can navigate in your Exercise Files folder to the 02 folder. In there, you'll find a tex folder, which is short for textures. In there, you'll find our Photoshop document. Now, I've delivered the layered Photoshop document so if you want to see how this was built, by all means, check it out. Let's go ahead and click Open to apply that to our new material. Now this Photoshop document has transparency. We're going to create one of those kind of semi-transparent plastic labels. So let's click on the thumbnail and drag it down to the Alpha channel.
